The Riviera Maya will be, once again this year, the main venue of the fifth edition of the Festival, where the opening ceremony will take place, as well as screenings in cinemas and natural outdoor scenes.

With its beautiful beaches, azure waters and first class hotels that invite to relaxation, inspiration and fun, the Riviera Maya offers visitors a huge variety of ecotourism activities, archaeological tours, entertainment for the whole family and a celebrated nightlife.

Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen will feature outdoor film screenings and cinemas that were specially restored for the fifth edition of the Riviera Maya Film Festival. To complete your experience we suggest visiting the city, where you will find restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Tulum will host a gala and activities related to the filmmaking industry, as part of the fourth edition of the Riviera Maya Film Festival. Its wonderful people will surprise you with endless options to clear your mind and pamper your palate.

Tulum place was chosen as one of the venues of the festival as it holds an architectural gem, unique in its kind: an ancient Mayan city fortress by the sea, surrounded by three huge walls that protect the mysticism of an ancient culture and lush vegetation.

During the festival, the Pearl of the Mexican Caribbean will host a selection of the most outstanding films, chosen for our fifth edition.

Spectacular beaches, luxury hotels and ancient Mayan ruins are part of the appeal of Cancun. In its diverse nature reserves and parks you’ll be able to enjoy its mangroves and practice water sports, such as snorkeling and diving.

Puerto Morelos

Due to its bohemian feel, its restaurants and quiet streets, Puerto Morelos is the perfect place to relax. Among its attractions is the Reef National Park, the world’s second largest reef barrier, just 500 meters from the beach.

This year, the Riviera Maya Film Festival will be showing, in Puerto Morelos, a selection of the most representative films of its program.

Isla Mujeres

White sand beaches, turquoise waters and reefs that are perfect for diving, are some of the features that make Isla Mujeres an essential destination. This is a small charming island, with a great nightlife, where you can swim with dolphins, snorkel, fish and sail.

The Riviera Maya Film Festival joins the cultural activities of the island by showing a very special selection of films, every year.
